ADAS (Anti-Collision System)
Commercial Vehicle ADAS Anti-Collision Systems
Proactive forward road hazard detection engineered for heavy commercial trucks, intercity coaches, and transport fleets. Features Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Headway Monitoring (HMW) to assist drivers in reacting before accidents occur.

Four Active Driver Protection Mechanisms
Intelligent vision-based risk recognition operating continuously while the commercial vehicle is in transit.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
Calculates time-to-collision (TTC) with the vehicle ahead in real time, triggering multi-stage audio-visual alarms if closing speed indicates an imminent hazard.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
Monitors road lane markings and alerts the driver immediately if the vehicle departs from its marked lane without an active turn indicator.
Headway Monitoring (HMW)
Continuously evaluates safe following headway in seconds, alerting the driver when tailgating occurs to encourage consistent following distance.
Pedestrian Collision (PCW)
Distinguishes pedestrians and cyclists (VRUs) in front of the commercial vehicle during urban transit and low-speed maneuvering.
Optimized for Commercial Heavy Transit
Tailored to minimize forward impact risk across diverse transport sectors.
Long-Haul Highway Tractors
Long hours on high-speed highways increase risks from momentary distraction and lane drifting. ADAS provides critical seconds for corrective steering and braking.
Intercity Coaches & City Buses
Safeguards passengers and urban road users with pedestrian collision warnings in dense traffic corridors and headway monitoring in highway cruising.
Hazardous Tankers & Vocational Fleets
For fuel tankers, chemical transport, and municipal fleets, active collision prevention helps safeguard high-consequence cargo and company compliance ratings.
AlwayCare ADAS FAQ
Answers to common deployment, calibration, and integration questions.
Can AlwayCare ADAS be integrated with our existing telematics platform?
Yes. The AWS302 provides standard RS232 serial and CAN Bus outputs that easily connect to third-party GPS trackers. The MR910-A includes onboard 4G LTE and fully supports standard JT/T 808, JT/T 1078, and open CMSV6 cloud APIs.
How is optical calibration performed after windshield mounting?
Calibration is performed using AlwayCare's mobile configuration app or PC calibration utility. Technicians measure the camera mounting height and hood distance, align the horizon grid, and configure the vehicle speed pulse signal.
How does the system distinguish intentional lane changes from drift?
The ADAS connects directly to the vehicle's turn signal circuit. When the driver signals before changing lanes, the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is suppressed automatically, eliminating nuisance alarms during normal lane changes.
What input voltage is supported for commercial trucks?
All AlwayCare ADAS devices support wide 9–36V DC operation, built to meet ISO 7637-2 electrical transient standards for commercial 12V and 24V commercial vehicle batteries.
