What camera layout suits a school bus?
A school bus usually needs a forward road camera, a driver camera, cameras over the passenger area and doors, and side or rear cameras for blind zones.
The number of channels depends on the bus length and how many doors and seating areas you need to cover. A multi-channel MDVR records all views together with GPS location.

Recorder
Multi-channel MDVRs record road, cabin, door and exterior views on one timeline.

Passenger area
Interior cameras such as CC990 cover the aisle and seating areas, including at night.

Doors
Door cameras or passenger counters such as PC23 record boarding and alighting.
Before you deploy
- Follow local rules on recording students and on who may access the video.
- Plan channels for every door and blind zone before choosing the recorder.
