Can a passenger counter tell us which students boarded?
No. An AI passenger counter counts people boarding and alighting at each door; it does not identify individual students.
Counts are linked to GPS location and video on supported models. Identifying students needs a separate system, such as ID cards or an app, connected to your fleet platform.

Counting
PC23 provides two-channel AI passenger counting with four-channel video monitoring.

Location
Counters with GPS/BeiDou link each count to where and when it happened.

Identity
Student identification and parent notifications need an ID or app system on top of counting.
Before you deploy
- Validate counts against manual counts before relying on them.
- Handle any student identity data under local privacy rules.
