Do pedestrians need to wear tags?
For UWB systems, yes: people and vehicles need tags so the system can measure the distance between them. Radar systems do not need tags.
With UWB, anyone without a working tag is not detected, so tag issue, charging and checks become part of the site routine.

UWB needs tags
Tags let the UA350 warn when a tagged person or vehicle enters the alarm zone.

Radar needs no tags
R350 radar detects people and objects within its range without anything worn.

Site routine
Issue, charge and check tags at shift start, and record who carries which tag.
Before you deploy
- Visitors and contractors also need tags if UWB is your main warning system.
- Combine warnings with walkways, speed limits and training.
