Can AlwayCare devices be installed on ADR dangerous-goods vehicles?
Ask before you install: ADR can set requirements for electrical equipment on some dangerous-goods vehicles, so confirm the location and approvals with your ADR safety adviser.
Tell us the vehicle type, cargo class and where you plan to fit each device, and we will share the certificates available for the models you are considering.

Check the vehicle class
Requirements depend on the ADR vehicle designation and cargo; your safety adviser can confirm them.

Plan the wiring
Agree where recorders, cameras and cables run, and how they are powered and protected.

Ask for documents
Request the certificates for each model; do not assume hazardous-area approval unless a certificate states it.
Before you deploy
- Do not install devices in hazardous zones unless the model's certificate covers that use.
- Keep the installation records with the vehicle's ADR documentation.
