Does DMS work at night?
Yes. AlwayCare DMS units use an infrared driver-facing camera, so they can monitor the driver's face in a dark cab without visible lighting.
Infrared light is invisible to the driver, so it does not cause glare at night. Strong sunlight or backlight through the windows can be harder for the camera than darkness, so test on both day and night shifts.
