How many channels do AlwayCare mobile DVRs support?
AlwayCare mobile DVRs come in 4, 5, 8, 9, 12 and 13-channel versions, so you can match the recorder to the number of cameras on the vehicle.
The 5, 9 and 13-channel AI MDVRs combine AHD inputs with one IP camera input: MR910 (4 AHD + 1 IPC), MR920 (8 AHD + 1 IPC) and MR930 (12 AHD + 1 IPC).
4 to 5 channels
Vans and light trucks: road, cab, rear and one or two side views.
8 to 9 channels
Trucks and coaches needing side, rear and cargo views.
12 to 13 channels
Buses and large vehicles with doors, aisles and full exterior coverage.

- Plan camera positions first, then choose a recorder with spare channels.
- More channels need more storage and more data for uploads.
