Warns the driver of forward risks

A forward camera with onboard vision processing detects vehicles, pedestrians and lane lines ahead. It warns the driver only; it does not control the vehicle.

How does AWS302 warn about collision risks?

A forward-facing camera with onboard vision processing detects vehicles, pedestrians and lane lines ahead. It issues FCW, PCW, LDW and headway warnings to the driver. It is a warning system only and does not control the vehicle. Warning timing depends on the configuration; confirm it in your quotation.

Can AWS302 work as a standalone unit?

Yes. It can warn the driver through an audible speaker. Optional I/O or RS232 interfaces connect it to a mobile DVR or a GPS terminal. Confirm the interface of your version in the quotation.

Which vehicles and windshields does it suit?

AWS302 is intended for commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, delivery vans and municipal vehicles. Send us your vehicle model and windshield details and our engineers will advise on mounting and calibration.

How are nuisance alerts reduced?

Where the installation supports it, a turn-signal input can reduce lane departure alerts during intentional lane changes. Speed-related settings depend on the version; confirm them with our engineers.
